Empowering Women for Sustainable Development Through Non-formal Entrepreneurship Community Education in Nigeria
Abstract

This paper discussed the concepts of entrepreneur, entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education and related concepts. The paper highlight the benefits of entrepreneurs which includings; financial support to family, friends, relations, orphans, exceptional and special need people and the community at large. The paper went further to discuss the concept of non-formal education and how adult facilitators can be guided in the entrepreneurship education training programme, in respect of procedures to take in training the trainees, and the professional qualities expected of adult facilitators. Conclusion and  recommendations were also provided among which are consultations with stake holders, sponsorship, enabling venue for the programme, individual and group projects and loan facilities that are obtained, to motivate and empower women fir sustainable development.
